Noel Romeo

Noel is an incredibly passionate teacher, particularly in the Montessori method of education. Her love for teaching was ignited in 1998 when she interned at a school for the deaf in Aberdeen during her college years. It was there that she discovered her calling and the profound impact that education can have on young minds. After completing her internship, Noel continued to work in the field of education, specifically teaching preschool children. Her dedication to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for her students is evident in her enthusiastic approach to teaching and her unwavering commitment to their growth and development. Noel’s passion for teaching shines through in everything she does, and her students are fortunate to have such a dedicated and caring educator guiding them on their learning journey. In 2002, Noel moved to Upstate New York where she used her deep connection with community to help her while starting a family. She served on the executive directors board for Cayuga Seneca Action Agency for 9 years, she was the Auburn City School District Special Education Advocate for Parents for 4 years, she served on the local grown health and families board for 5 years, she served on countless ACSD committees and worked for Cayuga County Health Department as their Breast Feeding Counselor. Noel has a done all this while continuing to raise her ten children, owning a local food business and continuing her education.  These experiences paved a path for Noel to seek a healthier alternative for her children’s education.  She wanted to find a place where children have “Freedom within limits”. This lead Noel to Montessori School of the Finger Lakes where she has found the perfect place for her children and self. Noel is Montessori Reading Certified, Montessori Preschool Certified, and Montessori Kindergarten/Elementary Certified.
