Activity Fee

An annual activity fee of $50.00 per child is required to cover the cost of field trips. This fee applies to all families including UPK families.

Speech and Hearing Screening Fees

The school contracts with professionals to conduct speech and hearing screening once per year. This screening is a more thorough screening than is done in most pediatricians’ offices and is mandatory for all preschool and kindergarten students. The Elementary Teacher and the Director will determine the need for screening of elementary students. Parents will be notified of the fee at the time of screening. In the past, the fee has been $10 per student.
Montessori Method
The Montessori Method is based on these three main premises:
  • Children are to be respected as different from adults and as individuals who differ from one another
  • Each child possesses a unique sensitivity and intellectual ability to absorb and learn from our environment
  • The most important years of a child's growth are the first six years of life when unconscious learning is brought to the conscious level.
