Annual Elementary and Alumni City Field Trip
A curriculum requirement for children grades 2 and up is an annual spring weekend field trip to a major city within
an approximate 6-hour driving distance (such as New York, Boston, or Philadelphia). Every effort is made to keep
the cost of the three-day trip to approximately $200.00 per person, which includes travel, food, lodging, and admittance to museums, cultural events, and the like
Parents and alumni are encouraged to attend and are notified of the dates and cost in March. Parents should plan ahead for the cost of the trip, payable on the date of departure.

Goals of the

With an eye toward the development of a competent, self-assured, independent, and caring adult, the Montessori method aims to:
- Foster natural curiosity and a positive attitude toward school
